Anna Sperotto, BC3

“Have you ever wondered how water, energy, and food are connected?”

In Untwist, we explore the invisible links between these resources, what we call the Nexus. Every decision we make—what we eat, how we use energy—affects everything around us, like a knot pulling all threads together.

The goal

To make the complex concept of the water-energy-food Nexus accessible and understandable to a broad audience, from children to adults. The project aims to raise awareness about the importance of our daily choices and their impact on the planet.

Key Outcomes

  • A main book that uses effective metaphors like “knots” and “threads” to explain interconnections
  • A social media kit to extend the message’s reach
  • Educational resources to support learning
  • Educational card sets for interactive learning
  • A dedicated website as a resource hub
